R-Stamp certified boiler repair and alteration
Our National Board R Certificate of Authorization covers the repair and alteration of boilers to National Board Inspection Code and jurisdictional requirements.
We do the work at our Hackensack shop or at your site, and Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB) inspects it.
What we repair and alter
If you own or operate a boiler or pressure vessel, you are responsible for making sure repairs are done by a qualified, authorized company. Cutting corners can cost far more than the repair:
- Weld repairs to pressure parts, including tube, header, and drum welds.
- Tube replacement and repair.
- Repairs to nozzles, fittings, and other pressure-retaining attachments.
- Alterations that change a boiler's rating, capacity, or intended service.
- Repairs and alterations on both firetube and watertube boilers.
Every repair follows a written quality system, is inspected by HSB, and comes with a documented repair
record for your files.
How it works
We follow the same five-step process for every R-Stamp job: you tell us what you have, we do a site survey, we prepare the repair plan and coordinate with HSB, we complete the repair and inspection, and you get the documentation. See the Full R-Stamp process for details.

Do you work on firetube and watertube boilers?
We repair and alter boilers across a range of types and configurations. Tell us what you have, and we'll confirm it's a good fit.
Can you repair a boiler on an emergency basis?
We don't currently offer emergency, after-hours response. We can prioritize scheduling for urgent jobs during business hours — call us to discuss timing.
What documentation do I receive?
A completed repair record you can show to an inspector or your insurer.
